2014 AWC: What Do You Expect From The Super Falcons?

2014 AWC: What Do You Expect From The Super Falcons?

The Super Falcons will on Saturday , October 11 begin their campaign at the 2014 African Women Championship in Namibia when they play Cote d’ Ivoire in a Group A game.

Edwin Okon’s team will be seeking to reclaim their title which they surrendered to Equatorial Guinea in 2012.

Incidentally Equatorial Guinea failed to qualify for the 2014 finals, making the Falcons the firm favourites to win the Championship for the seventh time.

What are your expectations from the Nigerian team? Are you satisfied with the level of their preparations ahead of the AWC and the quality of the players named for the Championship?

Are there players you feel the coach should have named at the expense of others, and vice versa? Which country do you think will pose a threat to Nigeria in Namibia?
