Nigeria's acting High Commissioner to Rwanda, Ferdinand Nwonye, visited the home-based Super Eagles who are preparing for the Championship for African Nations.
This was disclosed on the Super Eagles official Twitter handle.
The commissioner visited the players and officials during their evening training on Friday, as they intensified preparation for their first game against Niger Republic.
"Nigeria's acting High Commissioner to Rwanda, Ferdinand Nwonye visited the team in training this evening," the tweet stated.
The Eagles arrived Rwanda today Friday from South Africa, where they spent close to two weeks.
While in South Africa, they played two international friendly games against Angola and Cote d'Ivoire.
