Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has underlined his importance at Watford and given the strongest indication he will remain at the club next season.
Completesportsnigeria.com reports that Ighalo helped Watford gain promotion to the English Premier League, scoring 20 goals in the Championship campaign last season and his status seems to have been elevated and his stay all but confirmed.
The former Granada star posted a picture of himself on Twitter on Sunday in which he revealed Watford's new strip for their EPL campaign.
Above the picture he simply wrote: "2015/2016 home kit", with emoticons denoting that he is pleased.
Normally, key members of the squad and players staying on are used in unveiling new club strips.
The former Nigeria U-23s star has had a great year with Watford and has become a senior international.
He has been included in the Super Eagles squad to face Chad in an AFCON qualifier next month.
