Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan will be agog on Sunday as two of Nigeria's most successful and most supported clubs, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan and  Rangers International of Enugu, clash in a week nine Glo Premier League encounter.

3SC and Rangers dominated the domestic scene in the 1970's and 1980's, winning nine titles between them.
But things have since changed as they both have struggled to replicate those performances of yesteryear. 3SC remain rooted to the bottom of the current league log with Rangers in the 13th position.

Also this weekend, league leaders Sunshine Stars of Akure, who have won three games on the bounce, travel to Lafia where they will be guests of Nasarawa United who were pummelled 4-1 by Warri Wolves last week.

This season’s surprise packages Giwa FC entertain Taraba United at the Rwang Pam Stadium. Jos-based Giwa are unbeaten in their last five fixtures.

In Owerri, Heartland will hope to halt a run of three successive defeats when they host Akwa United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

Dolphins and Enyimba will slug it out at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt; while champions Kano Pillars, who are still looking for their first win on the road this season, tackle Abia Warriors in Umuahia.

New comers Gabros will hope to compound the woes of Sharks who are without a win in their last five games, while Wikki Tourists will be keen to stop Lobi Stars from earning their first win of the campaign.

The last game of the weekend will see El-Kanemi play host to Bayelsa United in Kano.
