Fatai Amoo will be appointed new head coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Completesportsnigeria.com has reliably gathered.
The former Sunshine Stars and Nigeria U-23s coach has been linked with the club’s top coaching job following uncertainty surrounding
the future of Gbenga Ogunbote who has been linked with a move to Enyimba.
Completesportsnigeria.com however scooped from a reliable source at the club that Amoo has already penned a deal with the club and could be unveiled on Thursday.
“I can confirm to you that Fatai Amoo has signed a contract with Shooting Stars,” the source informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
“It is clear Ogunbote is not interested in staying with the club and it is important to bring in a new coach as soon as possible.
“There is every possibility that the club will make an announcement on that tomorrow and do the unveiling too.”
