…In today’s FA Cup cracker in Abuja
Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC of Ibadan say they won’t be taking any prisoners when they file out against Dalhatu FC in today’s round of 64 Federation clash in Abuja.
Head coach, Franklin Howard, said the Federation Cup is an important competition hence they will give it their all.
“We’re aware that the Federation Cup is an important competition so we’re prepared for a tough game against Dalhatu. We want to take it one game at a time but then I’m happy with my players’ spirit and focus for the game”.
Shooting Stars have been well off the Federation Cup line for a long spell and the turn of things in the fold since the arrival of Rasheed Balogun as manager has signalled a sweet turn of fate for the die-hard supporters of the Oluyole Warriors.
“We’re in the race for promotion to the Premier League and we also hope to do well in the Federation Cup to compensate our governor, Supporters and Sports commissioner for their support”, Balogun, a former Julius Berger, Dolphins and Sunshine Stars manager said.
