Nigeria defender, Shehu Abdullahi, could be on his way out of Portuguese side Uniao da Madeira this summer, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Abdullahi only joined Madeira last season from Kuwaiti club Qadsia.
The versatile player Completesportsnigeria.com learnt is attracting the interest of top clubs in Portugal, France and Spain.
Madeira are also prepared to cash in on the player due to their poor financial state.
“Shehu is not certain to remain with Uniao Madeira next season,” top Portuguese agent, Mario Teixeira, informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
“He is an important player for his club but they could be forced to sell him due to their poor financial state.
“At the moment only the top three sides Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon are financially okay.
“The other clubs are struggling to cope with the poor economic situation in the country.
“Shehu has a lot of suitors and could join another club in the summer. Already there are a number of clubs who are interested in securing his services.”
