OGENYI ONAZI (SS Lazio, Italy)

SS Lazio of Italy midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, wedded his long-time girlfriend Sandra Ogunsuyi on Saturday June 18 at the Ruby Gardens in Lekki Epe in Lagos.

Onazi who had his traditional wedding in Benin City Edo State on 16th June, got married in a private court wedding at the Ikoyi Registry on December 29, 2015.

Onazi told Completesportsnigeria.com in an exclusive interview that it has always been his dream to marry Sandra.

“I thank God for such a special day. Getting married is a milestone in the life of a man; to get married to a woman who you love and who loves you makes it even more special,” Onazi said.

HILARY IKENNA (MFK Skalica, Slovakia)

MFK Skalica of Slovakia midfielder, Ikenna Paul Hilary, performed his traditional marriage rites with his sweetheart, Ngozika Nwankwo on the 11th of June in Anambra State.

Though the church wedding and reception are billed to hold in Lagos on the 25th of June, the towering star chose to have the traditional aspect of his nuptials at Nanka, Anambra State.

Hilary was part of Nigeria’s bronze-winning squad at the 2014 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in South Africa.

The ceremony is scheduled for Living Faith Church (aka Winners Chapel) at Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, after which the reception will hold immediately in Okota, Isolo.

LUCKY OMERUO (Pembroke Athleta F.C., Malta)

Lucky Omeruo on June 6 wedded his fiancée Dorsy Chuks in a ceremony that took place in the Netherlands.

Lucky, who plays for Malta side Pembroke Athleta F.C. as a striker, is the younger brother of Chelsea of England defender, Kenneth Omeruo.

It was Kenneth who took to his Instagram to announce the success of the wedding.

‘Success’ he captioned a video recording of the new couple where the newly wedded 20-year-old was seen showing off his ring.

EKIGHO EHIOSUN (Samsunspor, Turkey)

Nigerian forward, Ekigho Ehiosun, on Saturday in Lagos held his ‘white’ wedding ceremony with Veronica Ujadughele, his girlfriend of five years whom he admitted he met on social media.

The Samsunspor forward who starred in a novelty game prior to the ceremony Completesportsnigeria.com gathered had his traditional wedding on Thursday in Lagos.

Ehiosun’s white wedding took place at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Ikeja and the reception at the Excellence Hotel.

The 25-year-old scored four goals in 30 appearances in the Turkish second division last season.

OLAITAN OTUBANJO (FC Blau-Weiß Linz, Austria)

FC Blau-Weiß Linz midfielder, Olaitan Otubanjo, tied the knots with his long-time girlfriend Olagbayi Lolade in Lagos on Wednesday, 15th June at the Ikoyi Registry, Lagos.

Otubanjo, who is expected to leave Linz this summer, was instrumental to his side’s promotion to the 1.Liga, which is the second division in Austria.

“I’m happy to have sealed a lifetime date with my best friend Lolade,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.

Otubanjo is a former Nigeria U-17, U-20 and U-23 player.
