Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has expressed disappointment that Swansea City’s Kyle Naughton’s handball from Odion Ighalo’s flick was ignored by centre referee Paul Tierney in Saturday’s English Premier League clash at the Liberty Stadium which ended 0-0.
Tierney judged Naughton not to have handled the ball after Ighalo flicked the ball over his head.
Mazzarri was left fuming few minutes later when the referee again waved play on when Naughton impeded Valon Behrami inside Swansea’s 18-yard box.
In his reaction, Mazzarri told watfordfc.com that the two decisions by the referee cost them the three points.
“I tend not to comment on the referee but there were two very clear penalties for us,” he said.
“Those decisions are the ones that meant we did not go away with the three points.
“The first was a handball and the second was a foul on Behrami.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
