Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has tipped Tottenham Hotspur as one of the favourites for the English Premier League title this season.
Ranieri made the submission during his pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of the Foxes’ away clash to Spurs this weekend.
Spurs remain unbeaten after nine rounds of games and occupy the fifth position in the league table.
Leicester on their part have been poor on their travels, losing all four of their away games so far this season.
“Sooner or later, we’ll get back to winning (away). But we know it will be a good match. Spurs will fight for the title,” Ranieri said.
“Spurs are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League because they have a very good squad. They can change and rotate.”
He praised his players for the performance they put up against Crystal Palace which they won 3-1.
“Against Crystal Palace, we were back to our philosophy, I recognised my players again. I want to continue in this way.”
