Ajagun Opens Goals Account In Roda Home Draw; Agbo, Obi, Emenike In Action

Former Nigeria junior international Abduljeleel Ajagun scored Rods JC's only goal in their 1-1 home draw against AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie (Premier League) on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

It was Ajagun's first goal of the season for Roda.

The former Panathinakos midfielder opened the scoring in the 39th minute before Wout Weghorst equalised for Alkmaar on 59 minutes.

Fred Friday was an unused substitute for Alkmaar.

In the Spanish La Liga, Super Eagles defender Uche Agbo made an appearance for Granada who held Valencia to a 1-1 away draw.
Agbo was on for 99 minutes for Granada in the encounter.

Rio Olympic bronze medal winning striker Umar Sadiq was benched as Bologna beat visiting Palermo 3-1 in the Italian Serie A.
His Nigerian teammate Orji Okonkwo was introduced for Rizzo on 89 minutes.

And in the Turkish Super Lig (top division) former Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike was introduced for Volkan Sen on 89 minutes as Fenebahce beat rivals Galatasaray 2-0.

Also in Turkey, Emem Eduok played full time but failed to score for Kasimpasa who were held to 2-2 draw at home by Karabukspor.
