Since the appointment of Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager, Super Eagles forward Victor Moses – Complete Sports Player of the Month for October – is like a player reborn.

Moses continued with his impressive October form into November when Chelsea took on Everton in a league game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, 5 November.

Chelsea were ruthless as they won 5-0 with Moses playing for 90 minutes.

In the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria on Saturday, 12 November, Moses gave a five-star performance as his brace helped the Eagles to a 3-1 home win.

Against Middlesbrough in the league on Sunday, 20 November, at the Riverside Stadium, Chelsea won 1-0 with Moses bagging the Man of the Match award. He was replaced by Branislav Ivanovic on 90 minutes.

And in the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, 26 November, at Stamford Bridge, Moses scored the winning goal and won the Man of the Match award as Chelsea came from a goal down to win 2-1.

And to cap his brilliant displays for both club and country, Moses won the English Premier League Fans’ November Best Player.

After overcoming the injury that threatened to make his move to Sunderland a forgettable one, Anichebe has repaid the faith placed on him by David Moyes.

Anichebe has not looked back since being given his chance in the team as he has gone on to form a formidable partnership with Jermaine Defoe, contributing to his side’s recent good run.

And as recognition for Anichebe’s good performances in November, he was nominated for the English Premier League Fans’ November Best Player award which was won by Victor Moses.

Anichebe opened his goals account for Sunderland in their 2-1 comeback win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, 5 November, their first win of the current season.

Anichebe equalised for Sunderland and earned them the penalty which Defoe scored to make it 2-1.

Against Hull City on Saturday, 19 November, Anichebe grabbed a brace in a 3-0 win for Sunderland, to take his tally for the season to three goals.

He was in action against Liverpool on Saturday, 26 November but couldn’t rescue Sunderland from losing 2-0 at Anfield.

After recovering from the injury that forced him to miss the Super Eagles’ 2018 World Cup qualifier win against Zambia in October, Leon Balogun is back in his first team duties at Mainz.

Balogun was very instrumental in Mainz’s campaign as he went on to feature in all their games played in November.

On Thursday, 3 November, Mainz faced Anderlecht in the UEFA Europa League and got thrashed 6-1 with Balogun playing for 90 minutes.

Three days later in the Bundesliga, Balogun was back in action for Mainz who suffered back-to-back defeats, this time a 3-1 away loss to Leipzig.

Balogun put Mainz’ early November woes behind and helped the Super Eagles beat Algeria 3-1 in the 2018 World Cup qualifier which was played on Saturday, 12 November. He was imperious in Nigeria’s defence.

The following Saturday, Balogun was in action for Mainz and made a 90 minutes appearance in their 4-2 home win against Freiburg in a Bundesliga game.

On Thursday, 24 November, Balogun helped marshal Mainz’s backline as they held Saint-Etienne to a 0-0 draw in the UEFA Europa League.

And three days later in the Bundesliga , Balogun featured for Mainz who lost 2-1 away to Hertha Berlin.
