Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways on Sunday after their Europa League ouster by defeating Stoke City 4-0 in an English Premier League clash.
A first half hat-trick from Harry Kane and a brilliant finish from Dele Alli gave the hosts a 4-0 lead into the break.
Kane broke the deadlock in the 16th minute with a brilliant finish with to give Tottenham an early lead.
Kane doubled the lead for Spurs in the 33rd minute with another stunning strike from the edge of the box from a corner.
The England star completed his hat-trick after firing in a freekick from 25 yards out and was helped by a big deflection off Peter Crouch.
Kane turned provider for Spurs’ fourth. He flicked a pass on for Alli to slide into the net to cap an explosive first half.
The second half was rather poor as both teams had just a few shots, the best of which saw Kane force Lee Grant into a fine sprawling save and deny the English forward from bagging a fourth of the game.
The result moved Spurs back to second place, ten points adrift of leaders Chelsea while Stoke remain tenth.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
