Abdulrahman Eyes Upset In Umuahia

Kwara United FC of Ilorin Technical Adviser, Tunde Abdulrahman, has said that his wards are in high spirit to take the three points in Umuahia on Sunday, when his team square up with Abia Warriors.

Abdulrahman said Thursday in Ilorin that his boys are in a far better shape than they were at the beginning of the season and hoped they can transform that to victory in Umuahia on Sunday.

“I’m more confident about the ability of my boys now, they are getting better game by game.

“I hope we can prove we are now better than at the beginning of the season in games.

“We have advantage on the road because we have played three and only lost once in Ibadan.

“We want to do very well this season”, Abdulrahman said.

Kwara United recorded back to back victories at home over Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars in match day 6 and 7 respectively.

The Harmony Boys will travel to Enugu from Umuahia to play Akwa Starlets in the Federation Cup scheduled for Wednesday May 13.
