The Sand Eagles mauled Morocco 6-1 in Saturday's CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations second  semi-final to qualify for their fifth final, and also their fifth Beach Soccer World Cup appearance.

They face Senegal in the final on Sunday to decide who will succeed Madagascar as African Beach Soccer champions.

In a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, Abu who scored  a brace in the win against Morocco reiterated that qualifying for the Brach Soccer World Cup  was a big mission accomplished.

"Winning all other matches and losing a big game like this is just a waste of time. This is a game we needed to win and thank God it was mission accomplished. The next thing to do now is go back to our hotel, relax and get set for the final (against Senegal).

"The most important thing is that we have qualified for the World Cup in Bahamas next year."

On the final against Senegal on Sunay, Abu assured that the Sand  Eagles will try their best to defeat the Senegalese who have been a hard nut to crack for some time .

"The Senegalese team happen to be our familiar foe. We've playied against them a number of times in the past,  and they've been a thorn in our flesh. We will try as much as possible to come out victorious."
