Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has invited 23 home-based players to camp to commence preparation for next month’s AFCON qualifier against Tanzania.
This was made known by the Nigeria Football Federation on their official site.
The players are expected to report to the Bolton White Apartments, in Abuja, on Monday, 17 August.
Amongst the players expected to be in camp are the likes of Gbolahan Salami, Solomon Kwambe, Olufemi Thomas and some players from the U-23 squad.
The full 23-man squad: (Goalkeepers) Olufemi Thomas (Enyimba), David Obiazor (Heartland), Ikechukwu Ezenwa (Sunshine Stars).
(Defenders): Orji Kalu (Rangers), Solomon Kwambe (W/Wolves), Idris Aloma (Enyimba), Chima Akas (Sharks), Nelson Ogbonnaya (Heartland), Samson Gbadebo (Lobi), Jamiu Alimi (3SC), Stephen Eze (Sunshine Stars).
(Midfielders): Ifeanyi Matthew (El-Kanemi), Usman Mohammed (Taraba), Azubuike Okechukwu (Bayelsa Utd), Lawson Ichul (W/Wolves), Kingsley Sokari (Enyimba), Etebo Oghenekaro (W/Wolves).
(Strikers): Ezekiel Bassey (Enyimba), Gbolahan Salami (W/Wolves), Bright Ejike (Heartland), Tunde Adeniji (Sunshine Stars), Bright Onyedikachi (Ifeanyi Ubah), and Prince Aggrey (Sunshine Stars).
