Aware of his impeding new deal at Scottish top tier side, Hearts of Midlothian of Edinburgh, Super Eagles defender, Juwon Oshaniwa is already putting finishing touches to storm the UK in the coming weeks to sign the dotted lines.
His United Kingdom based agent revealed to Complete Sports on Friday, that efforts are in top gear to airlift the former Asdood left-full-back to Scotland, barring any last minute hitches now, that his long expected move to the Scottish side has reached the final stage.
The former Sharks FC of Port Harcourt defender had conveniently secured his work permit from UK Home Office last week, thus giving himself a smooth passage to play active football in the UK, having met the needed requirements as national team player.
A club would apply direct to the UK Government for a work permit, with the well-known requirement being that a player had to have played 75 per cent of his nation’s competitive games within the last two years to qualify.
For the Scottish FA to give their approval, the player in question must have played 75 per cent of his nation’s competitive games – excluding friendly matches – in the two years prior to the date of application.
“We are putting finishing touches to his deal now and all is set for Juwon to travel to sign the dotted lines. He will be traveling down to UK in the coming weeks,” he said.
Juwon last featured for Super Eagles against France at the last FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014, where Nigeria failed to advance beyond the second round.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
