Aggreh: Sunshine Still In Glo League Title Race

By Adeboye Amosu:

Sunshine Stars winger,  Prince Aggreh, says the club face a difficult task in their bid to win a first Glo Premier League title, but admits they have the quality to beat their rivals to the crown.

The Owena Waves have plunged from top position on the log  to fourth in recent weeks.

To win the title, the Akure-based outfit must overhaul the three sides (Enyimba, Warri Wolves and Wikki Tourists) who are ahead of them on the log.

Kennedy Boboye's charges also face difficult trips to Warri and Kano where they will confront Warri Wolves and Kano Pillars.

Aggreh told that they are ready for the task ahead following a morale-boosting away win against Kwara United, their second of the campaign last Sunday.

"We have endured a few negative results in the last couple of weeks, but I  still believe we can turn things around," the Nigeria international told

"We know it is going to be difficult to win the title, but with the quality of players we have in the squad, nothing is impossible.

"Last weekend's away win against Kwara United is a sign that we are ready to challenge for the title."

Sunshine will host Abia Warriors at the Akure Township Stadium, Akure in a week 31 fixture.
