Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu was on target for Bursaspor in their 2-1 home win against Genclerbirligi in the second leg, round of 16 Turkish Cup tie on Tuesday.
The win was not enough as Bursaspor crashed out on the away goals rule after losing the first leg 1-0 away.
Also in action for Bursaspor was Agu’s Super Eagles teammate William Troost-Ekong.
Peter Skuletic put Genclerbirligi 1-0 up in the 19th minute before Agu equalised for Bursaspor.
In the 49th minute, Bursaspor went 2-1 up thanks to Yusuf Erdogan goal but it was not enough to save his side.
The Super eagles midfielder’s goal against Genclerbirligi was his third goal in all competitions for Bursaspor so far this season.
