Super Eagles duo, Ola Aina and Kenneth Omeruo, are set for another loan spells outside Chelsea after their names were omitted from the club’s 25-man squad for the pre-season friendly against Arsenal at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Aina, who was dropped from Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia after initially making the 30-man provisional list, spent last season on loan at English Championship club, Hull City.
The 21-year-old made 44 appearances for Hull City last season.
The defender was included in Chelsea team for the pre-season tour of Australia last month and featured in the friendly win against Perth Glory.
He was however axed from the squad for the friendly win against Inter Milan last Saturday.
Omeruo is yet to kick a ball in an official game for Chelsea since joining the club in January 2012.
The centre-back has spent time on loan at ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Alanyaspor and Kasimpasa.Copyright © 2022 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
