Aiteo Is Federation Cup New Title Sponsor, To Dole Out N300m In Five Years

One of Nigeria's fastest-growing energy leaders,Aiteo have agreed a five-year title sponsorship deal worth N300m with the NFF for the  Federations Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.‎
The Federations Cup which has been without a sponsor for over 13 years after beverage giants Coca-cola pulled out, will henceforth be known as the Aiteo Cup.
According to a Tweet on the Twitter handle of a member of the Sponsorship Committee of the Nigerian Football Federation, Colin Udoh, the winner of the men's Aiteo Cup will get N25m prize money, while the winner for the women's category will get N10m.
The first runner-up in the men's Aiteo Cup will get N10m while the women's first runner-up will receive N5m. 
Recall that the current holders of the Federations Cup, FC Ifeanyi Ubah got N2m, while Rivers Angels got N1m for lifting the cup at the expense of Bayelsa Queens last year.
The deputy Managing Director of Aiteo Group‏, Mr. Francis Peters revealed that their support for the game is mainly for Nigerians.   
"We actually have things to do with this money, like give our Shareholders, but we are doing this for Nigeria,"  Peters said at thepress conference for signing of Aiteo Cup agreement.
Also excited about the sponsorship deal was the independent chairman of Nigerian women's league, Aisha Falode. 
"I am very excited that the women (women's FA Cup) have been taken care of," Falode said during the media briefing.
The Vice President of the Nigerian Football Federation Shehu Dikko also said: "Only we, Nigerians are able to develop Nigeria."
