By Adeboye Amosu:
Shooting Stars forward Ajani Ibrahim is upbeat the side will escape relegation at the end of the season despite their current position in the Nigeria Professional Football League table, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Oluyole Warlords sit in the 14th position in the table with four games remaining before the end of the current campaign.
The Gbenga Ogunbote-led side will host traditional rivals Enugu Rangers in a Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 35 fixture at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Saturday.
They need at least six points from the remaining four games to guarantee their safety.
And Ajani, who joined 3SC from South West rivals Sunshine Stars two years ago is confident they will maintain their top flight status at the end of the season.
"We have four games to play before the end of the season and we will be okay with two wins from those games," the versatile player told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"The key for us is to make sure we beat Rangers this weekend and then focus on the remaining three games.
"I believe we will escape relegation at the end of the day."
