Akwa United Lead Race For MFM’s Onuwa

Akwa United have emerged as favourites to land MFM FC midfielder, Chukwuma Onuwa, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Onuwa was a top performer for the Olukoya Boys in their debut season in the Nigeria Professional Football League last term.

He has also been tracked by league champions, Enugu Rangers and newly crowned Federation Cup kings, FC IfeanyiUbah.

But it is the Promise Keepers who are leading the race to get his signature.

The Uyo-based side have recently signed Onua's bossom friend, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi from MFM FC.

The player informed Completesportsnigeria.com he is keen on leaving the Lagos-based side for a move elsewhere.

"I have done my best for MFM and I believe it is time to move to another club," Onuwa told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"My agent is talking to some clubs and we will sort things out soon."
