Akwa United forward Alhassan Ibrahim has promised to deliver if given a chance to feature for the Super Eagles against South Africa in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier here in Uyo, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Alhassan, who is the only outfield player from the Nigerian Professional Football League in the Super Eagles squad for the match, told Completesportsnigeria.com that he hopes to justify his inclusion in the squad if he gets a chance to feature against the Bafana Bafana.
“I’m looking forward to giving my best for the team,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com in Uyo.
“I hope to give a good account of myself and open more doors for other NPFL players to also break into the Super Eagles.
“It’s going to be tough but I believe we will win and give our fans something to celebrate.
“The big players have helped us settle in well.”
Al Hassan has made two appearances for the Super Eagles against Corsica and Togo.
