–Eagles star attracts interests from clubs in Spain, Germany
Spanish side Almeria have put a £3million price tag on Super Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez in an attempt to ward off interest from German side Bayern Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid, his manager has disclosed to Complete Sports.
The 21-year-old made just 30 La liga league appearances for coach Francisco Vilchez’s side last season, but the Spanish boss is evidently unwilling to let Azeez leave the club.
The Nigeria international who started the Eagles opener against Iran at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Brazil is one of the team’s valued players according to the coach.
Almeria managed to secure their status in the topflight last season with the Mediterráneos side keen to retain his services as they plan to push on and consolidate on their performance in the fort coming season.
“They (Almeria) are happy with his progress and are not ready to allow him leave on a cheap deal,” he began.
“He has concrete offers but meeting Almeria’s demand is another issue on its own and where he will develop more is what we are also considering,” the manager said.
However, they are powerless to prevent interest building in their players and Azeez’s future is under intense scrutiny having attracted admiring glances from a string of clubs scouts who monitored his progress with the national team in Brazil.
