The home-based Super Eagles were held to a 0-0 draw in a friendly match against lower league side Spotlight FC in Katsina on Tuesday.

The game which was played to prepare the Glo Premier League Eagles players ahead of the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Chad, and also to inaugurate the new Karkanda Memorial Stadium in Katsina.

And just last week, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi released a 15-man overseas-based list for the Chad match slated for Saturday, 6 June.

Among the players called up for the match include skipper Vincent Enyeama, Ahmed Musa, John Ogu, Rabiu Ibrahim, Kenneth Omeruo and Godfrey Oboabona.

Meanwhile, the home-based players will commence training in Abuja on Thursday with the Europe-based players expected to start arriving in camp from Tuesday next week.
