Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose is on the verge of joining Scottish second division side Hibernian FC on a short-term loan deal from Celtic.
The deal is subject to him passing a medical at the club according to Scottish outlet, The Daily Record.
The 28-year-old who did not feature for Celtic in the SPL this term will be reunited with his former coach Neil Lennon after his proposed move to Blackburn fell through.
The Nigeria international had signed for Blackburn at the end of January’s transfer window but the move was never completed due to work permit issues and was called off on Monday.
The former Kaduna United and FC Ashdod defender could make his debut for the Hibs in Wednesday night’s clash with St Mirren, with Paul Hanlon, Liam Fontaine and Jordan Forster all out injured.
Hibernian are currently leading the Scottish Championship with 51 points from 25 games with Dundee United and Falkirk in second and third positions.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
