Barcelona great and director Guillermo Amor has hailed Lionel Messi as ‘the best’ after he grabbed a hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Levante.
Messi stole the show on Sunday with hat-trick while he also set up Luis Suarez and Gerard Pique as Barca restored their three-point lead at the top of La Liga.

The Argentina ace now has 14 goals and 10 assists for the season, the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to hit double figures for both, and Amor believes there is no-one better.
“Leo doesn’t give up, he plays like that because he is the best,” Amor said. “He’s very professional and serious, he doesn’t settle for second best and tries to improve on his previous match. He is the difference maker.”
Amor also quick to praise fellow Barca star Suarez, as the duo have now scored 25 goals between them in La Liga this season and have set up many more.
“Two players [Messi and Suarez] who have started very well, they are two goal scorers and they also assist,” Amor continued.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
