By Johnny Edward: Emmanuel Amuneke is delighted to have recorded his second league win in charge of Al Khartoum Watani in the Sudanese top flight division, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.
Al Khartoum Watani recorded their second straight league win of the season, defeating Kosti 1-0 away in Friday’s league clash in Khartoum.
They had earlier defeated Kober 2-1 away in their previous game after drawing two games and losing one since the start of the new season.
“It was a good win for us,” Amuneke told CSN.
“Gradually, the team is gaining more confidence as the league progresses and I hope they show it as well in the next game and be clinical as well.”
Al Khartoum Watani will face Al Hilal in their next game on the 10th of March, 2018.
Amuneke’s men are now fifth in the Sudani League table with eight points from five games.

  • Emmanuel Amuneke is my man come rain come shine. I will never forget his exploit for Nigeria during his playing days. He made SE solid with his dribbling runs and energetic football artistry. He was always delighted to watch and menace for the SE opponents, no wonder he’s performing well as a coach. I doff my cap for him.
