Argentina Vs Iran: Sabella Hopes 4-3-3 Will Down Asians

Alejandro SABELLA has confirmed that Argentina will plat a 4-3-3. Here’s what he had to say:

“There are no possibilities, the formation will be 4-3-3, unless if there is a need to change, than I’ll do it. It’s difficult to predict about tomorrow. Iran are very physical and a tough team to play against. Different qualities compared to Argentina.”

“Against Iran we must move with the ball fast and find space. MESSI always tells me he likes to play 4-3-3. That’s not something new and he said it with respect. We don’t have any problems. We want to win against Iran and we also want to play better.”

“Players love to say something and it’s good to hear their feedback. Sometimes even coaches can learn from players. If you dont accept criticism, they say you’re stubborn. If you do, they say you’re weak. I just try to think what is good for the team.”

When Argentina take on Iran today, it would be the fourth meeting against a representative from the Asian Football Confederation.

The first meeting was back in 1986 when Argentina opened their campaign against South Korea in Mexico. The Taegeuk Warriors did everything they had to stop Diego MARADONA thus giving birth to the term “Tae Kwan Do Football”
