Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has seen his popularity slowly wane with Gooners in recent years.
After a pretty poor start to the season, Arsenal moved up to 4th this afternoon following a 1-0 win over West Brom.
The result didn’t deter the travelling Arsenal fans from displaying a banner asking Wenger to leave at the full time whistle.
“Arsene, thanks for the memories but it’s time to say goodbye”.
Meanwhile, Wenger has refused to comment on Arsenal fans’ protest.
After beating Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek, Arsenal claimed their second victory this week thanks to Danny Welbeck’s goal, but a banner displayed in the away end at the Hawthorns read: “Arsene, thanks for the memories but it’s time to go”.
Asked about the banner at his post-match news conference, Wenger said: “I don’t comment on that.”
When asked once more, he replied: “Do I need to say it again? I don’t comment on your question.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
