Arsenal Fans Want Kanu Back After Hat-trick Vs Milan Legends

By James Agberebi:

Arsenal fans have called on Arsene Wenger to recall Nwankwo Kanu from retirement following The Gunners' legend's hat-trick against AC Milan Legends which ended 4-2 in favour of the Arsenal Legends at The Emirates Stadium on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Kanu was the standout performer as he delighted a sell-out crowd at the fundraiser which prompted some Arsenal fans via Twitter, urging Wenger to replace him with some of Arsenal's current forward players.

In one of the numerous tweets, a certain Tom @GoonerTom 17, describes the signing of Lucas Perez as a waste of money, positing that Kanu should have been brought back instead.

"Perez was a waste of money! Should've just brought Kanu back," the tweet reads.

Adam Cranfill @AdamCranfill, claimed that Kanu was a better option to what Arsenal currently parades.

Adam tweets: "Loving the Arsenal Legends game. Think we need to re-sign Kanu. Looks to be a better striker option than what we currently have."

Simon @SirHeppe rates Kanu higher than Walcott and Sanogo combined together.

"Kanu is still better than Walcott and Sanogo. He has such control of the ball," Simon remonstrates on Twitter.

According to Captain Jack @JackMcNally4:"Why did Arsenal sign Perez. Kanu tearing it up."

Paul Mosedale @Mosey004, on his part tweets: "Kanu looking more of a threat than Giroud and Walcott put together."

George @Jorgekip wrote on his handle:"Kanu has gone for 12 years and has come and scored a hat Trick at the Emirates ahead of Giroud."

AnieXtiaN @Feints_twists tweets:"Retired Kanu still has more pace and is still more clinical than Giroud. Wenger sign him up on a free."
