Arsenal Sign Holding From Bolton

Arsenal have announced the signing of Rob Holding from League One club Bolton.

“We have agreed to sign young defender Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers on a long-term contract,” the 2015/2016 Premier League runners-up confirmed on their website on Friday.

“The 20-year-old enjoyed a promising first senior campaign in 2015/16, making 30 appearances for Bolton and winning the club’s player of the season award.
“This summer, Rob helped England Under-21s to victory in the Toulon tournament in France alongside Calum Chambers.
“Rob is a versatile player, comfortable at both centre back and full back, and we look forward to him joining up with the squad. His transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
Holding is Arsenal’s third summer signing after Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano.
