TICKETS for Arsenal’s crunch match with London rivals Chelsea are now being listed online for more than £2,000 each, Starsport can reveal.
On Tuesday, the top of the table clash was labelled the most expensive match since the 2013 Champions League final when it was discovered that tickets were being listed for around £950 each online.
But now some vendors are putting their tickets on exchange websites for more than double that price.
One salesman is attempting to sell a pair of tickets in the Shortside Upper Tier for £4,208 on a leading ticket exchange site.
However, the wannabe entrepreneurs could hit a snag at the weekend if Chelsea beat Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Ticket prices are expected to plummet if they overcome the Red Devils as the Gunners would be more or less ruled out of the title race.
If Louis van Gaal’s men were to triumph in west London, on the other hand, ticket prices could soar.
Arsenal – whose face value ticket prices are already the most expensive in the league – are currently sitting seven points behind the league leaders, who also have a game in hand.
