Arsenal Ladies forward Asisat Oshoala says the Super Falcons are prepared to make up for their Olympic Games ouster by beating Teranga Lionesses of Senegal in the final round of qualifiers for the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nation on Friday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Oshoala, who is one of the nine foreign-based players in the 18-woman squad that departed Nigeria for Dakar on Tuesday, is eager to help redeem the country's image.

“We are ready for the game, we all know we didn't qualify for the Olympic games so at least the AWC is a way to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians and I'm confident in the level of hard work put in and with the input of our new coach, we shall beat Senegal," Oshoala told Completesportsnigeria.com before Falcons' departure.

Meanwhile, head coach of the Super Falcons, Florence Omagbemi, assured Nigerian that her team will win in Dakar.

"It is not easy for me to drop anyone for this game. I wish I could go to Dakar with all the players but I cannot. We have to keep working together to achieve our common goal, which is winning. We are going to Senegal to win," Omagbemi said.
