Nigeria winger, Philip Azango, has joined Belgian club, KAA Gent on a three-year deal from AS Trencin of Slovakia, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Azango caught the eye of Gent officials following his impressive showing for Trencin in the UEFA Europa League this season.
The 21-year-old scored a brace for Trencin in the win against Gornik Zabrze and was on target in the 4-0 victory against Dutch giants, Feyenoord.
He follows the footsteps of Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu, products of the famous GBS Academy in Nigeria
who featured for Trencin before securing moves to Gent.
Azango was in action for Trencin in a Europa League play-off round clash against Cypriot club, AEK Lanarca on Thursday.
