Nigerian midfielder Ramon Azeez will receive instructions from a new coach Sergi Barjuan who replaced sacked Juan Ignacio Martinez at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos.
Barjuan, 43, will take charge of the Andalusians for the first time on Wednesday when Azeez and company travel to face Barcelona, where the coach spent most of his career before moving on to Atletico Madrid.
The former left-back, who is a former Barca youth team Coach spent two years as boss at Recreativo de Huelva before taking over at Almeria with the club sitting precariously in the relegation zone and one point from safety.
The coach who was presented to the players on Monday will be hoping to steer the club to safety after picking up just six wins in the opening La Liga fixtures. Azeez has played 13 games in the La Liga.
