Babangida Takes Taraba Players To Malta

Three players from Glo Premier League side, Taraba United, and one from Wikki Tourists are set to join Maltese side FC Mosta, reports

The move is facilitated by former Chairman of Taraba United, Tijani Babangida.

The former Nigeria international was recently appointed Technical Director of the Maltese top division side, a switch he made along with the club’s top striker Fidelis Saviour.

The four players are Abdul Malik Mohammed, Yau Hassan, Abel Bobby (Taraba United) and Chukwudi
Samuel from Wikki Tourits.

Fidelis confirmed the players’ capture in a chat with

“Three of my former teammates and one other player from Wikki Tourists are on their way to Malta,” the Enyimba hitman said.

“I have a lengthy discussion with the technical director, Tijani Babangida, and he told me that everything pertaining to their transfer has been completed.

“I can’t wait to have them here as we enjoyed a solid relationship back then in Nigeria.”
