Former Eagles speedstar, Tijani Babangida has opined that the 23-man squad of the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be dominated by players from the AFCON 2013 triumph.
Babangida said Keshi knows what he wants and how he wants to go about achieving it, so he should be focused because he has a team already from the squad that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa, so he can pick one or two more good players he will take to Brazil to prosecute the World Cup.
“He has to be focused, he knows what he wants and he knows his players. I am sure in the next friendly games we will get to see them. Keshi has his own team therefore I don’t think he should listen to what people are saying, because he has his own strategy to ensure a good outing in Brazil and we saw what they achieved at the 2013 Nations Cup, so one or two additions to the squad can be allowed.”
The Super Eagles will be camping in Houston USA, for the World Cup and will play the United states as one of their tune-up games for the tournament. The final list will be available by June 2nd according to Keshi when he released the 30 man provisional list.
