Nigeria international Michael Babatunde has resumed training five weeks after fracturing his wrist at the World Cup in Brazil in a match against Argentina, reports Completesportsnigeria.com
The 21-year-old, who made two appearances for his country at the World Cup in Brazil completed two intensive sessions with fitness coach Thomas Wilhelmi at the Säbener Strasse facility on Saturday and Sunday is expected to return to action at the end of the month.
“I’m grateful to God for everything about my health, the POP has been removed and I’ve started swinging my hand well without pains,” says Babatunde.
“I will be fully fit in a couple of weeks as I will start ball work before the end of this week,” he concludes.
