Nigeria winger Michael Babatunde will be discharged from hospital today after undergoing a successful meniscus surgery on his leg, the 21-year-old Volyn FC player has revealed to Complete Sports.
Babatunde, who is expected to be out of action for the next three weeks however summed up his season as ‘bitter sweet’.
The former Kryvbas player underwent two surgeries in five months, a setback which he has accepted in good faith.
“To say the least, I just have to be grateful for everything that has happened to me,” he said.
“This season has been bitter sweet for me having two surgeries in five months but no doubt, I will be back better than I ever,” he assured.
