Raja Casablanca midfielder Michael Babatunde is delighted to be back in the Super Eagles squad for the two friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg on 27 May and 1 June, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is making a return to the squad ten months after he last featured for the Super Eagles in their 2-0 win over Chad.
Babatunde, who is expected to be on the move after spending four months in Morocco's Brotola league with offers from Russia, Isreal and Scotland being considered, hopes to remain in the Nigeria squad as the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier beckons.
"It's good news and I'm happy to be back in the squad," Babatunde told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"The team has been through a lot and "I'm just looking forward to these games because it's an exciting time for me."
Babatunde has played ten times for Raja Casablanca and has scored four goals with nine assists.
He is expected to join up with the Nigeria squad in Rouen, France after Raja's game against Olympic Safi.
