“It was not the beginning I was expecting when I signed, but it’s never easy when you arrive in a new club and you had to battle injury at a massive team like this (Wyday Casablanca) in Morocco,” Babatunde told CSN.
“There’s less pressure for me now, now I can enjoy playing with less freedom.”l’m so happy with this goal.
The 25 year old also hopes to add to his tally when his side faces Rapide Oued Zem on Thursday.
“It’s our second straight win in the league and hopefully I get to score again when we play on Thursday.”
Despite the win Wydad Casablanca still occupy bottom of the table having played four games less in the Brotola League due to their involvement in the Arab Club Championship competition.
