Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun, is disappointed at Brighton and Hove Albion’ s 2- 0 away defeat to Bournemouth in their English Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday and has shifted attention to Wednesday’s Boxing Day encounter against Arsenal, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
David Brooks scored both goals of the game to condemn Brighton to their ninth defeat of the campaign.
The Seagulls were reduced to 10 men in the 73rd minute after Lewis Dunk was sent off 17 minutes from time for a second bookable offence.
Balogun took to the social media to express his frustration on the defeat and his focus on theit next fixture against Arsenal.
“Tough game yesterday away from home with a frustrating outcome. We go again on Wednesday 🔵⚪️ #BHAFC #Seagulls,” reads Balogun’s Tweet.
Balogun who had struggled for regular playing time at Brighton following his summer arrival from German side, FSV Mainz has featured in the club’s last four games as a result of Shane Duffy’s suspension.
The 30-year-old will get another chance to stake claim for a regular berth in the team against Arsenal with Dunk suspended for the game.
He has made seven Premier League appearances for Brighton this season, scoring once.
