Balogun In Full Action As Brighton Beat Nice To End Winless Run In Pre-Season

Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun made his third appearance for Brighton who defeated OGC Nice 1-0 in Tuesday’s pre-season friendly in France reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Balogun started the match and played the entire 90 minutes.

The win was Brighton’s first in five pre-season games.

A second half goal from Viktor Gyokeres in the closing stages of the game gave Albion the win in their penultimate game of pre-season after a goalless first half.

Brighton had drawn games against Swiss side, St Gallen, Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City from the English Championship and lost 2-1 to AFC Wimbledon.

They will face FC Nantes in their final pre-season friendly on Friday, and Balogun is expected to Keep his place in the starting line up.

The Seagulls will face Watford in their English Premier League opener.
