Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has allayed fears that he got injured in Wednesday’s international friendly match against Uganda which the Eagles lost 1-0.
Balogun who plies his trade with Darmstadt, in the German lower division, made his second appearance for the Eagles against Uganda but was substituted in the second half due to a knock.
He wrote on his Twitter page: “Any information about me being injured is wrong – I’m fine by the grace of God.”
Balogun went on to hail Vincent Enyeama for making his 100th appearances for Nigeria and expressed disappointment for the loss.
“Really enjoyed playing my 2nd cap for the Super Eagles. Glad to be part of Vincent’s 100th, the loss was unlucky though.”
