Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun is expected to make his first appearance for Brighton & Hove Albion in a pre-season game against at AFC Wimbledon on July 21, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Balogun joined the Seagulls’ on a two year deal this summer as a free agent after his contract with Mainz lapsed. He has beeb on an extended World Cup break, but he will join the squad in Austria before the game against Wimbledon on July 14.
The Nigeria international will be joining Brighton and Hove Albion Austria camp alongside his new teammate, Australian goalkeeper Mathew Ryan.
According to a report on English website, The Argus, Brighton Hove Albion will face St Gallen in Switzerland in their opening pre-season friendly this Saturday July 14 before taking on Charlton on July 24 in their second pre-season game.
Brighton Hove Albion will also face Birmingham City four days later before wrapping up their pre-season with a game against Sporting Lisbon.
The Seagulls’ will face Watford in their opening 2018/19 English Premier League season at the Vicarage Road on the 11th of August.
