Barcelona have inserted a £54m buy-back clause into the deal that finally brought central defender Yerry Mina to Everton on Thursday.
The Spanish champions revealed they will have the option to bring the player back to Camp Nou in the future after the Toffees paid £28.5m to get their man.
Everton fought off stiff competition from Lyon to bring the giant Colombia centre-back on board but Barcelona clearly feel that he could be a huge star one day.
The Catalan club included a buy-back clause in the £4.3m deal that took midfielder Gerard Deulofeu to Goodison Park in 2015, paying £10.6m to get him back two years later.
Barcelona have already made a quick profit on Mina, who they signed from Brazilian club Palmeiras for £10m earlier this year.
The 23-year-old defender’s value soared during this summer’s World Cup in Russia, where he netted three goals for his country.
Mina has arrived on Merseyside alongside Barcelona team-mate Andre Gomes, who joins on a season-long loan deal.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
