Nigerian winger, Bassey Ezekiel is keen to make a big impact at Spanish giants, FC Barcelona following his move from Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Enyimba to the La Liga giant's B team, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Bassey joined the former European champions Team B side on a six- month deal on transfer deadline day.
The agreement includes a purchase option for Barca, for two more seasons should the player impress during his stay with their second team , after which he will be promoted to the main team.
"It's a big challenge for me, and I hope to make best use of the opportunity," Bassey, a member of Nigeria's home-based side that featured at the 2016 African Nations Championship told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It has been a wonderful experience for me these past few days training with my new teammates at one of the best clubs in the world.
"It takes hardwork to succeed here, and I will give my all to make it to the main team."
The 20 year old is looking to follow in the footsteps of Nigerian duo; Emmanuel Amuneke and Gbenga Okunowo who have played for Barcelona.
