Bayern Munich are hoping to wrap up a permanent deal for on-loan playmaker James Rodriguez before the end of the year. The Colombia international joined the German outfit on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.
Bayern have the option to sign Rodriguez for 35million euros at the end of his loan spell but it’s understood they want to a permanent deal wrapped up much sooner.
The 27-year-old has settled into Bundesliga life with no issues, scoring eight times, and he already boasts two goals this term.
Reports claim Bayern will begin negotiations with Real over the next few weeks as they look to have everything in place by the end of the calendar year.
